Uganda Weather does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or create a user profile.

Your district choice, lite mode setting, and recent places are saved on this device only. They are not sent to our servers as personal data.

When you request a forecast, our servers receive a district slug or coordinates to look up public weather data. If you allow location access, the app can show weather at your GPS coordinates and label the nearest district for context.

We cache weather responses by district so the service stays fast. Cache keys are shared across users and do not identify you.

We apply short lived rate limits by IP address to protect the service. These counters expire within about a minute and are not used to build user profiles.

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to see aggregate traffic and performance trends. These do not use cookies and do not identify you individually.

With your permission, given through the cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the app is used. It only loads after you choose “Accept all”. Choosing “Essential only” keeps Google Analytics off entirely. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

If error monitoring is enabled, our error reports exclude personal information such as your name, email, or exact location, and only include technical details such as the page you were on and what went wrong, to help us fix bugs.

Hosting may record standard server logs such as IP address and request path for security and reliability. Uganda Weather is built and operated by MCraft. For a privacy question, reach out through that site.
